About the new single, the lead singer, Lee-la Baum says, “We have a bit of a habit of putting ourselves in dangerous situations for our videos, hanging upside down and turning around, and now, in this video, walking backwards through crowds and cars rush hour. If there’s a rock ‘n’ roll nine lives, we’ve used quite a few so far.

“Sometimes it’s the little things that hold you back… We were on tour somewhere in western Canada, on what felt like the longest highway EVER. I started thinking about that silly fight I once had with my boyfriend and how we almost broke up.

It made me laugh in my head, so I wrote it down on a piece of paper. I could almost immediately hear the melody and the kind of mood the song should have. When we got to where we were going, I grabbed the guitar and the song was born.

“The song is really about all that is below the surface in a long term relationship. Obviously our issues weren’t about what kind of animal we should or shouldn’t have, it was just a trigger…but I find those little moments so detached from reality WONDERFUL!

Look innocent is an ode to the nostalgia of a love that once was. A love that was far from perfect, but the memories are vivid, and perfection is overrated anyway.

Add TDT drummer Dave Traina“When we were in the studio with Bob Rock, we had a little more trouble recording this song. Bob’s changes were difficult and it put us all on the right track, which is what you want with this level of producer It made us approach it with a heavier, more serious vibe and I think that carries over into the video as well, it’s one of our favorite songs to play live because of that.

Tour announcement lines up with band’s latest single look innocentfrom their critically acclaimed album “Now or Nowhere” produced by Spectra Music/Sony Music.

Produced by the legendary Grammy Award-winning record producer, Bob Rockthe album is available on www.thedamntruth.com.

Six tracks on the new album “Now or Nowhere” were produced by the legendary Grammy Award winner Bob Rock (Metallica, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, The Cult, The Offspring) at Bryan Adams’ recording studio “The Warehouse” in Vancouver.

“Now or Nowhere” recounts the band as they navigate life, love and everything else in a world seemingly turned upside down and sideways over the past year they couldn’t complete the album with Bob because COVID-19 restrictions, the band recorded the remaining three songs with the help of a Juno-winning producer Jean Massicotte who mixed “Everything disappears”; and the rest of the mixing was done by Vance Powell (Jack White, Chris Stapleton) Nick Di Dia (Bruce Springsteen, Rage Against The Machine) and Mike Plotnikoff (Van Halen, Cranberries).

The fucking truth have toured extensively in Europe and North America and have opened tours for High ZZ (and party with Billy Gibbon in pajamas), sheepdogs, Styxand rival sons.

They sold the legendary Whiskey to go in Los Angeles, sold on Corona Theater in their hometown of Montreal, and featured one of their videos on Janis Joplin’s official Facebook page. It’s the culmination of a lot of blood, sweat and tears that came to fruition with “Now or Nowhere”.
